Description

Pareidolia is the psychological tendency to perceive familiar or meaningful patterns, most often faces, in random or ambiguous stimuli, such as seeing a face in the clouds or the man in the moon. It's a common type of apophenia, which is the broader human inclination to find meaningful connections in random events.

This piece of Pareidolia was created using two types of wire rolled into a ball and placed on a table then photographed using intentional camera movement. It was a one of a number of pieces shot that were then catalogued, rated and processed in Lightroom.
