This artwork is part of the “A journey into the real world" series. I use AI generated portraits as a basis. I take them from the virtual world to the real world. I revive her, give her skin and a new look, and then bring her back to the virtual, digital world.

Following the example of the polaroid emulsion lift technique, I wished I could do the same process with my digital photography. Lots of reading, studying, experimenting, but in the end I managed to develop my own inkjet emulsion lift technique. I print a basic photo on a special foil with emulsion, immerse it in a certain liquid, separate the emulsion from the substrate, manipulate with skin of emulsion by rinsing and transfer it to a new substrate. After that, I accentuate certain segments by drawing in ink. On this work I used three layers of emulsion skin.
