"Many years later, as he faced the firing squad, Colonel Aureliano Buendía was to remember that distant afternoon when his father took him to discover ice."
Maybe, for me, the opening sentence of a fiction that will be remembered to death is that sentence. I fell deeply in love with the book.
Reading fiction, not only to get an image in your head about what the author describes, but also to feel and sink into the sea of words presented with great depth.
That's how I felt when I read the book. I was lost in suffering, solitude, and fading away with Macondo with tears on my cheek. All text in this photo series is loosely adapted from One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. And this work is a homage to that literary work.
