Yura Miron is a Ukrainian digital artist based in Kyiv who creates AI-assisted digital paintings, generative art, and animation exploring Buddhist teachings on compassion and enlightenment through psychedelic, science-fiction, and solarpunk imagery.,Working across SuperRare and Foundation, among other platforms, since 2019, he has released a large body of one-of-one and limited-edition NFTs on Ethereum, Tezos, and Solana.
He has made digital art since the early 2010s, moving into animation, immersive virtual reality, and generative art and electronic music before turning primarily to AI-assisted image-making in 2019. His central body of work is the Way of Bodhisattva series, figurative pieces illuminating Shantideva's teachings on compassion and enlightenment through Art Nouveau design and futuristic architecture, drawing on artists including Moebius, Kilian Eng, and HR Giger as well as traditional Tibetan thangka iconography. In the Fundamental Nature series he unites the aesthetic of the art collective Furtherrr with the teachings of the Tibetan master Longchenpa, rendering scientific and mystical ideas of reality through vibrant geometry and organic forms.
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he began the Solara Nexus City series, imagining sustainable, eco-utopian cities in response to the destruction he witnessed in Ukrainian cities.That year his work was also featured in a curated exhibition of Ukrainian NFT artists staged on muse.place, presented alongside the “Art for Ukraine” fundraiser for humanitarian aid.
Miron frequently collaborates with other artists: in 2021 he and XCOPY released XCOPY-YuraMiron effect, an edition of 30 on KnownOrigin of which 29 copies were gifted to collectors and the last sold at auction.,,He has also worked with neurocolor on Machine Elf and with Eloh Projects on Luminous State, both released on SuperRare.,
