Bio
Takashoshi is an Argentine artist who works in pixel-based GIF animation. Using just a few pixels, he “makes his dreams into frames”, turning them into small animated stories. Nine of his works are held in the collection of the GIF Museum.
In 2025 his work was included in “doomscrolling>>>”, the ORBIT_E edition presented by MBAL in Le Locle, Switzerland. Curator Kika Nicolela invited the Mexican artist Canek Zapata to build a web page combining works by 28 invited artists from around the world, Takashoshi among them, into an infinitely scrolling collage. The participating artists share an interest in post-internet practices, and every piece in the project originated as an NFT.
