Santiago Márquez is a Uruguayan digital artist and poet based in the Tezos and objkt community, working under the names santiagoney, time, and, briefly, corn.His drawing, painting and code-based work returns again and again to language, the internet, and what he has called “the end of the world”.,
He decided he wanted to be an artist as a small child, began drawing seriously as a teenager, and started using digital tools around 2010, using Corel X3 on scans of pen drawings to make visual poetry books. He also builds browser-based drawing tools that render brushes imprecisely on purpose, sharing them publicly and running Twitter drawing contests where entrants received the tool itself, packaged as an HTML NFT, as a prize. Other hicetnunc and fxhash artists, including The Myth, have used the brushes he shares. He is also the organizer behind NFT Uruguay, a long-imagined, still mostly virtual gathering for the country's small circle of digital artists, and in August 2021 he started a Discord to bring them together.
In November 2025 Márquez took part in a ten-day painting residency in Mexico with the painter Héctor Herrera, producing a show of twelve paintings called Tiempo Lateral. His digital practice moves between Aseprite, Inkscape, GIMP, Blender and Midjourney, vectorizing photographs of his own paintings and screenshots of his 3D sculpts and layering them with a multiply blend he compares to layers of ink.In August 2026 he released loss of language, a 100-piece collection on SuperRare, under his ttiimmee alias, that sold out at 0.03 ETH per piece.,
