Bio

Oficinas TK is a digital artist who studied painting at Ar.Co without graduating, then taught himself traditional and emerging techniques. In 2015 he began an editorial project focused on engraving and photography rooted in historical processes, before starting a body of digital work on the Ethereum blockchain in 2018.

That digital work draws on his personal imaginary and leans heavily on magical and arcane forms of thought. In 2019 he founded the Thoreau Centre for the Blockchain Arts, a virtual-reality curatorial project gathering the work of many other digital artists.^,

In 2020 he signed the open letter Minimum 10% NFT Royalties – Letter to Platforms, joining artists including Matt Kane, XCOPY and Hackatao in asking NFT platforms to guarantee artists a minimum 10 percent royalty on secondary sales. In 2022 his work was included in the 24 Seeders installation at “DYOR”, curated by Nina Roehrs at Kunsthalle Zürich, alongside artists including Botto and Hackatao.
