MAZiN is a multimedia artist and glitch art enthusiast working across databending, ROM corruption, generative art and analog glitch techniques.Known online under aliases including endlessmazin, virtualmazin, datamonger and m4shinGAN,MAZiN also writes and builds narrative backgrounds within his pieces, exploring storytelling alongside his visual techniques.
MAZiN's series Phantasmagoria imagines a fictional universe of living architecture, in which angelic figures called C.L.E.A.N.S.E. treat color as corruption and are opposed by rebel "Corruptors," rendered through large surreal landscapes layered with pixelated glitch detail. MAZiN has cited H.R. Giger and filmmaker Alex Proyas as influences.Individual works from the series, including Ditherium Gothscapes and Ruinscape Isometrica, were released through the platform Verse between October 2024 and March 2025.,,
MAZiN has described the technique behind this glitch work directly: “As a glitch art enthusiast, I delved into the world of video game glitching through ROM corruption and hex editing tools. This technique involves corrupting ROM files to create unique, distorted glitch textures by manipulating the game's code and pixels.” MAZiN was profiled alongside fellow ROM-corruption artists silvasantuz and Glitch Town Arcade in Electric Chronicles' Pixel Art Profiles series, ahead of inclusion in the Tezos Art Review Pixel Art Anthology.
In 2026, MAZiN released Morphland Abstractions, a series of abstract, psychedelic glitchscapes built through custom AI workflows and pushed further with glitch-based and generative dithering processes, using bespoke models trained to bring out hallucinatory textures. The series was presented on the platform Fellowship.
