Mahnaz is a painter and AI-collaborative artist who explores identity, self-discovery and transformation. Her ethereal figurative works blend classical painting technique with AI in luminous, metallic-infused compositions built around the human figure as a symbolic space for memory, vulnerability, resistance and transformation. Born to immigrant parents, she draws on experiences of migration, belonging and the search for freedom and equality.
She entered the NFT space in 2021, and her early work engaged human rights and humanitarian themes before expanding into body image and digital identity through collections including Body Image and Felora. Since 2023 her AI-collaborative practice has turned more directly toward self-discovery, using AI as a mirror to examine self-image, visibility, authorship and the fragmented self. Her SuperRare collection 1/1SELF continues this investigation, presenting the self as singular, unrepeatable and always in transformation.,
Her work Three Egos was published in PROMPT Magazine as part of Digital Divan, curated for the seventh edition of “The Wrong Biennale” in 2026. In 2024 her work appeared in “Continuum”, a group exhibition at High Tech Campus Eindhoven during GM Eindhoven honoring Hieronymus Bosch and Johannes Vermeer. Six of her on-chain artworks have been featured on Coinbase Wallet, together reaching more than 275,000 mints. In 2024 she also won the Art NFTs category for Most Unique Minters across the Superchain ecosystem at the SUNNYs, presented by Forbes Web3 and Optimism.
