Joakim Karlsson (b. 1979) is a photographer working in nude and portrait photography. Born in a small town in Sweden, he first studied photography during a course in the ninth grade, shooting manually on film. Photography only became a viable career for him in 2007, when he grew interested in portrait and fashion photography. Without formal training, he developed his own shooting style through years of trial and error.¹
