Daniel Oropeza, who works under the name Ferdoropeza, is a Venezuelan multidisciplinary artist working across generative art, 3D graphics and sound.He has become one of the generative art platform fxhash's most prolific creators by volume, releasing more than ten sold-out collections.
Oropeza grew up in a small town east of Caracas and studied music composition there. After graduating he moved back home, but Venezuela's economic crisis forced him to leave by 2016, and he has lived in Panama since. He continues to compose academic and symphonic music alongside his digital art practice, and also writes poetry.
His fxhash collections include School of data, built from abstract shapes, pixels and electric colors with pieces defined by their movement.In Leonidas Storm, the generative pieces are audio-reactive, responding to a viewer's voice or surrounding sound. For A thousand faces, he moved away from his earlier pixel-based work to render pop-culture icons through generative art.In 2025 he contributed Chaotic Structures to ACTZ Commissions' Architecture Edition, a WebGL piece built from 3D geometry textured with photographs of old stairs, doors, walls and columns and processed into a rotating, amorphous mass. Of the work, he has said, “I wanted to bring architecture to the edge of chaos, to make something impossible”.
