Connie Digital is a digital artist who describes her practice as working “at the edge of culture/tech”.In February 2020 she was one of thirteen artists, alongside XCOPY, Hackatao, Coldie, and Alotta Money among others, who created The First Supper, Async Art's genesis token.
The First Supper is a 22-layer collaborative homage to the Last Supper, with one of Hackatao's characters standing in for Christ at the center of the table, surrounded by twelve apostle-figures each rendered by a different contributing artist in their own style. The work is owned by the collector Metakovan, known for purchasing Beeple's Everydays: The First 5,000 Days for more than $69 million. In April 2020 she wrote How to Create NFTs with IPFS and Digital Art for the Pinata publication, on using IPFS to give NFT collectors a way to preserve artwork indefinitely.
In March 2021 the First Supper collaborators, including Connie Digital, were featured in “Virtual Niche — Have you ever seen memes in the mirror?”, a group exhibition at UCCA Lab, the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, which later toured to Shanghai. She has also been credited, alongside Lil B, $alex Masmej, and Sid Worthy, on Social Money (On a Roll), a song tied to rapper Ja Rule's 2020 deal with the creator-token protocol Roll.
