bosquegracias is an artist collective and residency based on a family-run forest property in Epuyén, Chubut, in Argentine Patagonia. It hosts visiting artists for residencies centered on nature, sharing workshops, tools, and collaborative production, and its members work as NFT artists on Tezos, releasing collective drops with other artists.,Its activities blend art with permaculture, environmental education, and community life on the land.,
The residency invites artists to immerse themselves in nature for inspiration and to share creative experiences with other artists, offering workshops and activities built around creativity and the exchange of ideas. It also positions itself as a cultural space that supports artists, local communities, and environmental conservation, while introducing blockchain-based tokenomics to a rural setting. One residency exchange brought together the Polish-Argentine group La Zajawa, whose members work across rap, dance, and music production.
Starting in 2024, the collective began issuing a yearly volunteer NFT on Tezos, minted through the objkt.com marketplace, as a digital certificate of participation with accompanying skill badges. The collective also experiments with generative AI, sharing image-generation models on CivitAI.It took part in Mixing Era, a generative AI workshop within the Tezos-focused Newtro Arts community, whose output became the collective drop Fricciones Latentes, made together with nivvvo, Sulkian, Mafin, Fran Mandon, Mote, and Yerart. The project explored the balance between automated and human-made image-making, treating AI as a creative medium rather than just a tool. The residency also partnered with S.E.E.D., a decentralized collective, on a joint program combining both groups' residency activities.
