Andrés Senn is an Argentine artist and coder who creates digital images through generative, computational processes.,Starting from simple geometric shapes, he writes algorithms that generate and dislocate imagery in unpredictable ways, building compositions through layers of repetition. He embraces the aesthetics of error, fragmentation and deconstruction, incorporating deformation, movement and transformation into the image.
Senn lives and works in Córdoba, Argentina.,He studied musical composition at the National University of Córdoba from 1995 to 1999. In 2002 he began working with new media applied to art and communication, developing as a programmer and designer of web and multimedia applications. From 2009 to 2014 he was a tutor in the postgraduate program in Medial Arts at the National University of Córdoba. He has taught multimedia design at the IES Siglo 21 Institute since 2019. In 2012 he co-founded Jumelab, an interactive design and communication studio.
During the “Dataism” touring live session, the artist Solimán López presented Senn's work at the Museum of Contemporary Art Buenos Aires (MACBA).At the Museo Superior de Bellas Artes Evita Palacio Ferreyra in Córdoba, Senn took part in meetings organized to evaluate work for inclusion in the museum's collection.Ethereum Noise, 2019, is included in the collection of the Thoreau Centre for the Blockchain Arts.His work has also circulated on digital art platforms including fxhash and Teia.
