On These Streets (2024), a black-and-white series released on fellowship.xyz, uses dreamlike, Escher-inspired imagery to explore “artificial memories” of American hip-hop culture absorbed while growing up in 1990s Italy. The series treats memory as an edited, distorted version of reality, blurring the line between lived experience and invented nostalgia.Individual pieces are built by prompting generative AI to hallucinate. Of On These Streets #86, the first of the series' night scenes, Ciulu said “the whole city got energized”.
In 2024, Flamingo DAO commissioned Ciulu's AM, co-curated by fellowship.xyz, a free-mint series of nightly “minutes” set between midnight and sunrise that explores conflicts between darkness and light, the social and the individual, and the earthly and the sacred.Ciulu also made Seaborn, a series recalling a childhood in a coastal town, and experimented with AI video in the short series OTS Mixtape and Daily Bread.,Ciulu's work was included in “Metamorphosis”, an AI Creative Showcase at the Cluster Photography and Print Fair in London in April 2025 curated by Valeria Del Vacchio and Cluster London, and has been exhibited in Rome, Berlin, Paris, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Mexico City.,
