Afonso Caravaggio is a Brazilian digital artist who paints under the self-described banner Modern Renaissance. He works from São Paulo, Brazil, where in September 2024 he painted the digital work 2am in my studio. His work is represented by the gallery Art of This Millennium and available on the platform SuperRare.
In 2022 his work was included in group exhibitions such as Floating Pixels, a digital art show displayed on a floating billboard that traveled from Miami Beach to Downtown Miami, alongside artists including Beeple and Sam Spratt. In 2023 he took part in the Alotta Money Charity Exhibition and Auction, held with MakersPlace during Castle Party in memory of the artist Alotta Money and curated by Trevor Jones. That September, 2am in my studio was also included in Des/Conectados, a collection presented by Art of This Millennium in solidarity with Brazilian digital artists.
