In an island featuring 3D hybrid beings produced in collaboration with artificial intelligence, the video presents an autonomous production space as offered by the screen, within a dynamic and continually evolving ecosystem. This space, provided by the computer, appears in the work as a bio-graphic area, exploring forms of post-natural life therein. The beings found on the 'Semi-Allogeneic Island' arise from a blend of biological and technological elements, at the blurred boundaries of the organic and inorganic, aiming to establish a new concept of 'creature.' Here, the creature is seen not as a limitation of life opposite to death, but rather as a threat of deformation or deficiency coming from within; while death is an external threat, the creature is an internal one.
The creature is not a simple being of diminished value, but rather an entity whose value emerges as a contrast. It shows how fragile the stability of life we are accustomed to actually is, and stands on the negative side of issues like species-specific reproduction, morphological regularity, and structural success. At the same time, it emerges as a counterstance in the pursuit of preserving the myth and integrity of the 'normal human.
