Power of 9

"Power of 9" is a unique collaborative piece bringing together 9 female artists in the photography genre. Born from their individual journeys, thoughts, drive, creativity and passions, this piece represents spaces where artists roam and ideas are imagined, questioned, and realised.

Artists from top L-R -

Kate Woodman “Yellow” - The first image in a series entitled “Monochrome” that explores the emotional relationship we have with color.

Lillian Liu “In Power” - A self portrait that explores and merges icons of strength with culture, heritage, and a bit of fantasy.

Shavonne Wong “Growth” - An image that came from experimenting with lighting, set building and scale.

Nicole York “Nocturna” is a celebration of feminine energy viewed through the lens of mythology.

Tina Eisen “Primavera” - Inspired by the rebirth of spring, borrowing the very first, brave tiny flowers of the season as a symbol of fragility paired with persistence and strength - these little warriors are a sign of hope and life returning.

Cheryl Walsh “Beta Enraptured. 2017” - Experiencing the pure joy of dancing underwater, she escapes reality and becomes like the beta fish: mysterious, solitary, beautiful, strong and vibrant.

Olga Tenyanin - “The Trophy Wife” - Now available for purchase! Would look amazing on your arm. Pearls not included. Diamond ring sold separately.

Bella Kotak “In Bloom. 2021” - A self portrait created as a reminder that there’s still plenty of time and opportunity to grow, unfurl, and bloom.

Kelly Robitaille “The Raven” Based on the poem by Edgar Allen Poe - “Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before”
