What does this piece represent?

For this Zenscape, I wanted to use a sharper shape to confine the image and amplify the juxtaposition. I love the way the controlled chaos can break the shape at certain points and still be completely balanced.

As with all my Zenscapes, there is a sun, bonsai, and birds that provide depth and scale. The subtle animation of the snow and atmosphere provides the feeling of quiet stillness.

Why is this important to you?

This is one of my favorite compositions. While in the flow state I allow things to just "happen" during what I have "planned" and this is the perfect result.
