Based on a 1960s-era portrait of French actor Catherine Deneuve (1943-), but equally inspired by streaming service Peacock’s recent series ‘Angelyne’ focused on the titular Hollywood personality famous for nothing but being a celebrity and her many billboards. In particular her 1983 single ‘My List’ was running through my head as I created:
