The distorted, overlapping human form is stretched, multiplied, and woven into itself, each instance of the body morphs, caught in the moment of becoming something new. Between the tension of the flesh as a site of oppression and flesh as a site of liberation the body is both dissolving and reassembling to break down the fixed subject into a state of constant becoming. The elements emerge from one another resisting aesthetic norms, embracing bodily excess, multiplicity over singularity and transformation over stasis. I hope to raise questions about the future of the human body in a technologically mediated world and how technological mediation affects our perception of identity, materiality, and human form.
