In „S.D. #501 Symbiotic Distortion“, Michel Winterberg uses sound sources generated by electromagnetic interference of everyday devices such as fans, computers and power supplies. By using these devices and special microphones, he improvises from granular to repetitive to carrying soundscapes, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a psychedelic cosmos of noise.

Hosted by space3000, as part of “windows #1” 11.-18.6.2023 during Art Basel. space3000 is an independent art space dedicated to promoting and experimenting new curatorial practices for digital and net-based art. With "windows", curated by Ugo Pecoraio, space3000 launches the prelude to an exhibition series that attempts to build a bridge between public space and digital art.
