"no alarms no surprises"
this piece is based on the song "No Surprises" on the album OK Computer. as i interpreted the song, it became almost like a sarcastic message making fun of the "keep working and waiting and you'll eventually get there" type of lifestyle. so this is my vision of a "dream room" from a 70s/80s dystopia. the ground is flooded with water and filled with electricity to show that it might seem attainable and within reach but is actually impossible and likely deadly to achieve. the forbidden dreams of a 12 hour shift worker in a past yet distant dystopia.
I didn't like the album but i listened enough times that it became the sound track of my life for like a week and anytime it was quiet i could hear the fking yodeling coming from the distance threatening to take me to some android governed dystopia
