Before 2001, most cabs in Mexico City were green vochos with white roofs and without the front right seat to facilitate passenger entry. They were known as Ecological Taxis and continued to circulate until 2012.

The series “Vocho Lindo y Querido: a love story from 1967 to 2003” explores a cultural icon, the “Vocho” –or Volkswagen Beetle–, in the context of Mexicanness over the last five decades, through 36 NFTs on the Tezos Blockchain, one for each year the car was produced and sold in Mexico.
