Oil on Linen, 18"x14"

The original vintage fabric was given to me, by a fellow classmate, when I was a young student as Pratt Institute many years ago.

My art history classes introduced me to these artists and I welcomed them into my heart. My artistic journey began with the figure and Lautrec's work spoke a language I understood. I've loved Klimt's racy figure paintings and his works from nature. He combined my passion of my younger years with where I am in life now. A few years ago I began "Plant to Paint" an ongoing series. I paint "en plein air" in my garden and share O'Keefe's love of flowers.
