This tribal spider girl lures her prey into an entangled web of elegant obsession. In the Swahili dialect of her region, Wavuti’s name suggests a willing entrapment in the enticing net of the temptations she displays on offer. It’s an evocative moniker inspired by her body painting style of preference, a name bestowed by the daring young men of her tribal village.
