This series was born in 2023 and originally released on Foundation as a Blind Mint. Of the 40 works created, only 11 were revealed. Following the closure of the platform, I feel it is essential to preserve and present the unrevealed pieces, as this body of work holds deep personal and artistic significance for me. It was during the creation of this series that I finally articulated what I truly love about AI art and where I see its soul — that elusive quality that allows a genuine sense of humanity to emerge from AI-generated outputs.

At the same time, these works were created using Midjourney v4, just before the release of v5 — the version in which the model had almost entirely lost its signature ability to hallucinate. As a result, this series sits at the crossroads of two distinct “eras” and became, for a long time, the final chapter in my experiments with this image generator.

These works can be seen as the earliest expressions of my AI Art Manifesto, whose first version I would later formalize in the second half of 2024. TOUCH is the series that crystallized the foundations of my artistic identity, revealing them far more clearly and consciously than in any of my pre-TOUCH works. - Blanq, 2026
