Hverfjall is probably one of the most perfect craters you'll ever see. 420 metres high with a 1 km rim to walk around. It is a truly magestic sight from below and from above with glaciers on one side, lava fields and Lake Myvatn on the other. But be prepared for its' millions and millions of midgets in the summer months. Arriving early in the morning you will get the crater to yourself and see the sun rising in the distance.
