THE WOMAN ON THE PEDESTAL is a 3D dance piece created by mixing the language of dance with animation techniques and 3D simulation. The piece presents a woman's body in motion in a place of prominence and recognition. In its simplicity, "The Woman on the Pedestal" invites reflection on issues of gender, object, beauty, power and visibility.
