Description
The Veil is a series of experiments in viewing myriad virtual objects through homemade simulated lenses. These experiments explore distortion via refraction, in color, over time.
The digital 3D models used in The Veil are hand-drawn by @rodellwarner. Typically, the objects under the lenses are not animated and only the lenses are programmed to move. Typically, any apparent movement of an object below the lens is due to the curvature or architecture of the lens causing refraction of the light coming from the object.
