The Upside Down - Light in the Dar Series

I started the series "A Light in the Dark" 2 years ago, but unfortunately, it was disrupted by Covid. The ongoing series will explore trees and woodlands lit by either the Moon or artificial light at night.

The Upside Down was photographed on my local golf course with a small LED light. It wasn't until I was processing this image that I noticed it looked pretty cool when turned upside down, it also made the image more unique, an inverted underground world!

I love shooting locally and to this day I've not travelled more than an hour to take my images. There are so many things on our doorstep and so many ways to shoot them. I like the challenge of shooting scenes that others might walk past, trying to think of concepts and techniques to make a scene different.
