Minted in concrete is the day the house was completed - March 23, 1982.
I decided to start my long-form collection (The Spr4wl) with this photo to celebrate 40 years of this signature on the floor.

I had never realized that the day was there, set in concrete. When I noticed it, the idea of my grandparents doing this little thing when they finished their house in the countryside of Minas Gerais overwhelmed me. Since that day they were there, weeding the grass, tending the garden, cutting the bamboo. Taking care of the house.
Now they are gone, but the day they reached that achievement will always be there, carved in concrete.
