This ruinous house is just behind my home, my father can still call the owner’s name and talk about the stories happened around the house. However, all I can see is the ruins.

Growing up in the countryside, I lived surrounded by many old empty houses. Most of their owners had moved before I was born, leaving behind houses gradually falling into ruin. This is a photography series to document the remnants of a prosperous countryside that I had never seen.
