The endless cycle of confusion and struggle in which we get lost, within an uneasy waiting and infinite transition, is like a far-off land to most people; so much so that we are not even able to pronounce its name, you only recognize this place by your feelings. Because being here represents not a place, but placelessness.
Ruin, despair, amazement, and terror… The breaking of what is perceived as an unbreakable bond gives a person an endless terror. Change of order, unable to exist between two things anywhere; like the Afterlife, but worse.
I first came here when the unbreakable bond that I thought existed was shattered. Error, worst sin a person commits against oneself.
I watch everything that comes together and changes to chaos, reminiscent of ancient myths; I tie hope to the chaos necessary for order to emerge. The horror of the rupture of bonds I thought unbreakable empties my eyes, and I label them as useless for not having seen the evident thing. I see neither the past nor the future; in this journey, I find that everything which I had trusted and felt connected to was an illusion.
There is a void inside me, and I'm afraid to understand how deep it is. Maybe this is the truth itself: the greatest loss of mankind is the collapse of confidence in oneself.
And probably the most overwhelming freedom comes afterward when one has nothing to hold onto.
