a lot of my early experimentations with primitive text-to-image models involved basketball specifically -- in part because the results generated often consisted of blurred "activity" with vivid colors -- I played water polo in high school so perhaps that's why I placed Shaquille O' Neal and the orange basketballs into a more aquatic setting -- but it also had to do with how much the early AI models really seemed to love imagining anything related to water-slides -- these were a lot of fun to make back in 2022 and now fast-forwarding to 2025 the playfulness is still saturated into the images
