When I’m painting faces in deep indigo colors I feel like I’m capturing the world of the soul. ⠀ Inversion is at the heart of the universe. Yin & Yang are the original cosmogenesis of the world. ⠀ From dark to light. Negative to positive. Unifying two opposite forces. ⠀ The main idea behind the gemstones in my "heads" is that human soul is an eternal substance. ⠀ After a physical death a soul is reincarnated into the firmest, eternal mineral - diamond. ⠀ The purest souls become the purest diamonds.
