TESSELLATIONS is a new series of works by French artist Joanie Lemercier.

An exploration of the segmentation of space with the Delaunay triangulation and Voronoi Diagram invented by the eponymous russian Mathematicians. Abstract geometrical compositions emerge from generative lines arrangements.

Joanie Lemercier is a French artist primarily focused on projections of light in space and its influence on our perception. He's also a climate activist.

Lemercier is represented by Art galeries in New York, Paris and Brussels. He minted his very first NFT on Rarible, before pausing all his Ethereum releases for environmental reasons. Today, he's a fervent supporter of the low-energy Proof-of-Stake blockchains, and he's releasing an ambitious series of generative NFTs and physical drawings on Rarible, to celebrate the adoption of the environmentally friendly blockchain: Tezos.

Tessellations is part of Blazing Futures’, an inaugural collection initiated by Diane Drubay featuring work from ten Tezos-based artists that launched on December 15, the day Rarible x Tezos integration went live.
