In 2013 I was often broke, out of work, and checking the Los Angeles Craigslist for art jobs. This intersected with my interest in sub-pixel rendering and PS's Content Aware Scale tool. I began taking screenshots of text from the site to manipulate. The listings had a sense of detritus, desire, and desperation - but were flecked with glints of genuine earnestness.
