The fairies are a race of beings that inhabit The Realm, a magical parallel dimension that can be accessed from anywhere on Earth. They are the ancestors of modern humans, and have evolved into a species much more advanced than their human cousins. Because of this, the fairies have been able to develop advanced technologies, which allows them to perform magic, and have created a complex and beautiful civilization.
