'Holding on'

This was the first stone to be created, based on an experience I had on the beach, that moment inspired this collection.

Stone piles or cairns have been built by world cultures from nomadic to agricultural to tribal.  Often used to show the way, set boundaries, mark a burial site or serve as symbols of faith. Human relationships with these acts are widely found throughout time over thousands of years.

Stones, a digital collection seeks to explore this tradition, while adding a personal perspective, using symbolism and visual references.
