This piece is part of my collection derived from funny things my kid says. I know it’s a common theme for artists who are also parents, but once I started I found the images compelling.

School has been hard. The little guy is processing that not everyone is nice all the time. This one hurts my heart, but it gave me a good opportunity to teach him how to handle his reaction.

About Jen: Jen is just a weird momma making art, playing video games, and trying to befriend the crows in her Texas neighborhood. She has a degree in graphic design and fine art photography but has also tried her hand at most hobbies and art styles.
