Description

Paper tape straddles the mysterious divide between atoms and bits. The "grass" behind it is a digitized rendering from a film I made as a tribute to my friend Melody Shores. Together they form an image of the physical and the digital mingling in the flow.

This image is taken from the first frame of an animation I created using NodeBox, a visual language that uses wires (nodes and links) instead of words. The network constructed to create this image required over 8400 nodes and 11,600 links.

The paper tape encodes an 18th century Japanese haiku. I will reveal it to whoever purchases this NFT.
