Orignially I wanted to test various masking tapes. It worked partially (on the bottom). Most of the time, the tapes, even when weakened, ripped of the top layer of the paper. Tried several times. In the end, I started painting several layers on top of each other on the ripped areas. They absorb the ink differently, much faster, and their unpredictable borders adds an additional chaotic side.

The colors we see, are the result of photons bouncing on atoms' and molecules' electron clouds, born within stars and supernovae.

The behavior of watercolor ink on paper is mostly driven by similar forces, although on a mechanical level (surface tension, capillary action)

This collection seeks to honor both phenomena while sharing my learning process through an uncapped number of NFTs.
