Mandalas are common in generative art but they usually rely on rotating an ellipse or loading vector images. This sketch draws all the shapes along the perimeter of concentric circles. This allows for more complicated designs which can be filled with different colors. It also makes it possible to independently rotate the rings of the mandala. I created several CGA palettes for this sketch for a nostalgic look.
