Time is the apparent irreversible progression of existence and events.

Along with the three dimensions, time is frequently referred to as a fourth.

The definition of time does not address the fundamental nature of it. It doesn't explain why events can move forward and backward in space but only forward in time.

While in the process, I often look back at the events of the past. It feels like I’m right there again, stuck in a moment. Holding on to it under this spell while the universe passes me by. Then I wake up and try to dash forward to reach the present. But my legs are heavy as I'm just running on the spot again.
