Edward Hopper (1882 - 1967) was an American realist painter, most famous for his depictions of urban scenes and domestic interiors. 'Spectral Hopper' picks up on his use of empty rooms and almost architectural use of light to generate a copy of a work typical of his oeuvre, though which never existed.
