The fisherman had been in love with the sea since he was a child, which is why he became a fisherman. He would travel to nearby towns with his small boat and sell the fish he had caught. One day, on a small town pier, the fisherman and a girl in a blue dress fell in love and decided to get married. They had a simple ceremony.

On his wedding night, the fisherman invited his love to ride on his small boat so he could show her the beauty of the sea. The girl put on her blue dress again and they rode together. However, that night the sea became rough and the girl fell out of the boat and drowned.

From that night on, the fisherman searched for his wife in the sea instead of fish. He has not stopped at any pier since.
