"Sometimes They Just Die" are spurred from an intense series of dreams I had 20 years ago in which someone close to me died. These visions have resurfaced in the colorful remnants that I abstract from edited portraits and paint with. I don't know when the next one will be, and they are not released in a particular order. The "They" in the title could be a reference to the person, the image or my memory.
