The story of "Cat," The Humble:
His name is “Cat,” and he's exactly that humble. In fact, his entire personality is built on humility. Even though Cat's human is the kind of devoted servant who buys him only the finest things like luxury beds, gourmet food, high-end toys, he somehow achieves peak comfort only when he discovers a lonely cardboard box abandoned in a corner of the house. And honestly? Nothing beats that. The moment he settles inside it, you’d think he’s finally found his dream palace.
Artist Statement for the "Soft Paws' Reality" Collection:
A pet can be a domestic animal. A global trend. A source of entertainment. Or a deeper inner need, a constant companion, a loyal friend, a true member of the family.
For each person, in every part of the world, a pet carries its own meaning and emotional weight. But one thing is certain: living with them, and forming a direct bond, divides life into two chapters, before knowing them, and after.
For me as a painter, visually studying the world around me is essential. It expands my understanding of the external world and strengthens my ability to depict my inner one. Undoubtedly, structured and realistic drawing is the most effective way to engage in such visual study.

Choosing domestic animals as the focus of this collection adds another layer of psychological complexity, in addition to technical complexities. Anyone who has lived with a pet knows that each one carries a distinct personality, sometimes even traits we tend to attribute only to humans. Encountering a charismatic, timid, jealous, lonely, playful, insecure, sentimental, or mysterious character is precisely what reveals the individuality of each animal.
This is what I have tried to explore and portray in this collection: the inner world, the unique character, and the intimate truth of each pet.
