SERP-42 is a recreational simulation facility orbiting YUI-23 (a planet that's occupied by predominately purple bacteria). The facility allows citizens to experience life as a phototrophic sulfur microbe for the purposes of maintaining empathic abilities. SERP-42 generates power for these simulations through the release of psychic energy of its participants.
